Currently I'm studying fashion & Management at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. After my internship at Acne Studios my passion for textiles has grown incredibly. Working with luxery textiles where quality was priority has made me questioning the meaning of quality. Obvious was the fact that consumers perceive quality in a different way as fashion/textile experts do. Although the consumers associate quality with the feel, handle and durability of the fabric, they barely check the labels inside the garments. The labels tell a lot about the quality by noticing the origin of the fabric. Meaning, the composition, quality labels and finishes. So now it is my turn to improve the communication system and make the information easier accessible for the consumers.
